2001 Yamaha TW200 – JDM Import | 10,526km
The TW200 is one of those bikes that just makes sense. Fat tires, bulletproof 196cc single, lightweight enough to toss around on trails but civilized enough to commute on. This JDM version is the same platform as the US-market TW200 that ran for decades, just with lower mileage and the benefit of Japan's meticulous ownership culture.
This particular one is about as clean as they come — Grade 4 at auction, stock from top to bottom, and that tank interior tells the whole story. No rust, no surprises. The 2000+ disc brake upgrade makes it a more capable stopper than the older drum-brake examples, and the updated 28mm carb that came with that same refresh delivers noticeably smoother power than the earlier units — a small change that makes a real difference in everyday rideability.
