Finished before the introduction of the legendary Vanquish S, this example is equipped with the highly desirable Sports Dynamic Package, a rare factory option that served as the blueprint for the Vanquish S launched just months later.
Available only for a short period during the 2004 model year, the Sports Dynamic Package transformed the Vanquish with a host of performance upgrades that would become standard equipment on every 2005 Vanquish S. These enhancements include a lowered and retuned suspension, quicker steering ratio, larger 378 mm front Brembo brakes with six piston calipers, thicker rear brake discs, strengthened front suspension components, and lightweight 9 spoke forged alloy wheels. The result is a sharper, more engaging driving experience while preserving the timeless styling of the original Vanquish.
Power comes from Aston Martin's hand built 5.9 liter naturally aspirated V12, producing 460 horsepower and delivering one of the most intoxicating exhaust notes of the modern era. Mated to a rear mounted six speed automated manual transaxle, the Vanquish offers an unforgettable blend of grand touring comfort and supercar performance.
According to Aston Martin specialists, only 94 Vanquish models were produced with the factory Sports Dynamic Package before production transitioned to the Vanquish S, making these cars among the rarest and most sought after first generation Vanquish models. They offer the best of both worlds, combining the elegant, clean styling of the original Vanquish with the chassis, steering, braking, and suspension improvements that defined the Vanquish S.
